About
Elpheon has developed patented principles to increase the efficiency of propellers used by ships (and to increase thrust when necessary), while reducing noise.
For each use case and each client, Elpheon develops propellers tailored to the speed (J-value) and depth, through theoretical modeling, and then constructs models that are compared to the state-of-the-art in test basins to ensure the validity of their theoretical modeling.
Elpheon has signed an agreement with CMA CGM for the retrofit of a propeller and is working with Hydrocean and Centrale Nantes for the tests.
