About

Eden Tech is a French start-up that creates microfluidic solutions to revolutionize industry. Its pioneering biomimetic-inspired devices offer compact systems of high physico-chemical performance dedicated to green technologies, supported by innovative microfabrication tools for accelerated innovation. Eden Tech provides tools and materials for simple and quick microfluidics device fabrication. Our core product is Flexdym, ideal for prototyping & mass production. Our latest tool, EdenApp, is a free online microfluidic design simulator for rapid fluid flow validation that will be released soon. Our microfluidic solutions for environmental applications include ASCANDRA and AKVO. ASCANDRA is the first water treatment system using the microfluidic technology against microplastic pollution at industrial scales. The central unit is a stackable CD containing microfluidic processors to filter microparticles from contaminated water, releasing microplastic-free water. AKVO system can treat micropollutants from water, including the industrial waste from pharma and clothing industries, at a very low pressure in a compact, energy-saving system. Systems are designed to treat 2 to 200 cubic meter per day, depending on users’ needs. Furthermore, Eden Tech has taken on the challenge of producing carbon-free hydrogen from water via electrolysis. The biggest energy loss in today’s electrolysis systems is due to the space between the electrodes. Taking it to the microscale with a microfluidic approach gives us strong advantages. Eden MedTech works on the manipulation of cells in fluids at a microscale allows us to tackle new challenges in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. We aim at providing new genetic testing tools, cellular therapies and cost-effective disease detection tools for a healthier and fairer world. Our products are aimed at pushing forward both academic and industrial innovation.
