About

We design, co-develop and operate sustainable land use projects which generate socio-economic and environmental benefits through the empowerment of rural communities. Our success comes from: - providing holistic solutions to agricultural producers’ cooperatives including patient credit, improved processing facilities, and technical assistance and packages - development of high impact and financially sustainable business models which do not rely on grants and philanthropy - building lasting and equitable partnerships with cooperatives, businesses, and other stakeholders - utilizing the benefits of carbon finance to optimize value chains and ensure sustainable landscape management With offices in Canada, Peru, Côte d'Ivoire and soon Colombia, ECOTIERRA designs and operates agroforestry and forestry projects which combine increased revenues for participants and environmental benefits. In 2018, it launched Urapi Sustainable Land Use Fund , a 50 M USD fund to invest in 4-5 agroforestry projects in Latin America.
