Chez Earthwake, nous sommes convaincus qu'il est urgent d'apporter des solutions concrètes sur terre, avant que les déchets ne rejoignent les océans. La Chrysalis® est une réponse innovante qui s'appuie sur la technologie de la pyrolyse pour transformer les déchets plastiques non recyclés en énergie. En effet, si la demande de plastiques suit la trajectoire actuelle, le volume de déchets produit devrait tripler d'ici 2060. Seulement 9% sont actuellement recyclés à l'échelle mondiale. La Chrysalis est une solution brevetée :
- Elle permet aujourd'hui de valoriser plus de 180 tonnes de déchets plastiques en 160 000 L d'huile de pyrolyse par an,
- Elle est autonome en énergie de chauffe grâce à la récupération du gaz de pyrolyse,
- Elle est logée dans 3 conteneurs, permettant une installation au plus proche des gisements de déchets,
- Elle permet de produire un carburant décarboné avec une réduction de 75% des émissions de gaz à effet de serre par rapport à la production de carburant.
