About

Dromos realizes an autonomous mobility system for high-capacity urban public transport. It’s based on small, autonomous, electrical vehicles and operates on a segregated infrastructure. Our on-demand, point-to-point, 24/7 service for passengers and freight offers high user experience through individual and safe rides in shared assets and, economically thinking, allows to have only as many vehicles in the system as there is demand for at any given moment, enabling subsidy free operations. The light vehicles demand only light infrastructure, comparable to bike lanes, with significantly lower infrastructure costs and much less invasive constructions. These low CAPEX and OPEX are key to a positive business case in public transport and constitute an important relief to municipal budgets. Dromos’ ecological footprint is unrivalled: significant less CO2 emissions during infrastructure construction and CO2-neutral, biodegradable particulate matters and low noise during operations.
