About

DENS believes that sustainable energy should be available at any place on the planet. We therefore create systems which can extract energy out of the liquid organic hydrogen carrier Hydrozine, which is based on formic acid. When Hydrozine is converted into electricity carbondioxide and water are the only emissions. The electrochemical production of Hydrozine however uses the same amounts of carbondioxide and water making it fully renewable. The main benefits of using hydrozine as an energy carrier are the flexibility and safety of the fuel compared to alternatives such as batteries or hydrogen. These characteristics make Hydrozine especially suited for off grid market such as construction sites where no sustainable alternative to diesel is currently widely in use.
