About
Cotierra generates impactful and reliable emission reduction and carbon removal for net-zero committed companies to help decarbonize agricultural supply chains and/or compensate for residual emissions. Initially focusing on the coffee and cacao sectors, we facilitate the decentralized production of biochar soil improver, which significantly reduces fertilizer reliance and sequesters carbon in the soil permanently. Our carbon insetting approach enables coffee and cacao brands to cut their farm emissions in half and boost their farmers' profit margins by 30%, all while enhancing the climate resilience of their supply chains.
