About
COBRATEX manufactures and commercialises innovative bamboo based reinforcements for composite materials. The company uses its patented technology to extract bamboo fibres and assembles them to obtain a unique continuous ribbon. It is very different to standard yarns found on the market, made of glass, carbon, flax or other fibres. It is a complex structure offering many advantages.
COBRATEX provides bobbins and fabrics, enabling Industry to have a positive impact on the Environment by :
• stimulating bamboo culture, a carbon sink
• reducing wastes by using renewable & biodegradable materials
• reducing fuel consumption in transports by reducing weight
