The company is headed up by a team of veteran business executives, with a combined 75 years of experience in the bio-materials, textiles and fashion manufacturing sectors.
The Agraloop™ Bio-Refinery transforms food crop waste into high-value natural fiber products in a cost-competitive and scalable way, providing sustainable and regenerative benefits. The Agraloop™ can utilize a range of feedstocks including oilseed hemp and oilseed flax straw as well as pineapple leaves, banana trunks and sugar cane bark. These feedstocks alone represent 2.5x current global demand. We look at these crop residues as valuable resources, rather then “waste”…Turning “problem” into solution by converting waste into resource. The Agraloop™ Bio-Refinery is a completely closed-loop system that refines biochemistry and creates bioenergy from these food crop residues to support the manufacturing of valuable Agraloop Biofibre™ and other co-products. The Agraloop directly supports all 17 SDGs.
Orbital™ Hybrid Yarns are a revolutionary new proprietary yarn technology capable of producing high-performance yarns using recycled fibers. The resulting yarns have low pilling, high strength, wicking + fast dry, and abrasion resistence.
Our Texloop™ “Lightest-Touch™️” processing strategies help to preserve maximum embedded energy in recycled materials. Through advanced mechanical recycling technology Texloop converts natural, syntethic and complex blends from post-industrial and pre/post-consumer textile waste to staple and filament fiber.
