About
Rubber is an unmissable material and applied in almost all the products we use: from shoes to coffee machines, from airplanes to condoms. The footprint of rubber however is high due to the mainly fossil raw materials and difficulty to recycle rubber end-of-life.
Circular Rubber Platform makes the circular rubber economy easy and accessible, by knowledge sharing, networking and fostering collaboration within the whole rubber industry. It presents solutions for rubber circularity (renewable and recovered raw materials and recycling technologies) during meet-ups and to companies directly, and connects engineers, companies and universities.
This way we inspire people worldwide with what is already possible and motivate companies to rethink their material use within all rubbers family, for example biobased rubbers, or rubber made with recycled raw materials. Finally, we work in project groups to close rubber material supply chains, such as high quality shoe-to-shoe recycling.
