About
The BuffaloGrid Hub uses solar energy and internet connectivity to deliver Our Solution which consists of building a low-cost power and communications network, designed for underserved users and can adapt to changing technologies.
We are now working to use this network to deliver content and services to communities without end-users paying for data. It is also used to gather valuable insights into consumer behaviour and environmental conditions.
For people living in off-grid or grid-edge communities, charging their phones is a daily challenge. One that slows economic growth and leaves many without access to services like government portals, online banking, social media, entertainment, and eCommerce.
We think everyone has the right to be included in the modern economy. Off-grid doesn’t have to mean offline. That's why we’re on a mission to help the next billion get connected, and stay connected.
Our approach is universally applicable, globally scalable, and has the potential for explosive growth.
