The challenge facing First Nations Remote Communities in Canada is the absence of funding to provide energy efficient housing and jobs while increasing the use of renewables to offset the diesel consumption currently used in generators to produce power. We are part of the NRCAN program to reduce the use of diesel in remote communities. We intend to create a fund to finance the installation of renewable energy devices and to build capacity and create jobs in the community.
