BioBright is a UK-based startup pioneering sustainable algae-based technologies to combat climate change and restore marine ecosystems. By cultivating algae in ports, the algae are able to absorb CO2 emissions and absorbing pollutants such as zinc, copper, and nitrates from the water and enhances marine biodiversity. The company’s advanced monitoring system provides real-time data on algae performance, optimizing carbon capture and pollutant absorption. At the same time, the system can also track how much CO2 is in the port along with water pollution. With a strong focus on innovation, BioBright offers scalable solutions for the maritime industry that can save money and the environment
