BeesMAX is looking for innovative ways to ensure that bee keeping in the UK can become a two way process; gathering pristine honey for the consumer whilst also playing a part in rejuvenating the environment and ecosystems that support our wild honey bees.

I am looking to bring the APIStrip (see attached file; 3 APIStrip contaminant sampling) to market as the world needs this method of testing for pollution. It is unique and will become an essential tool to discover the chemical footprint within a 3 mile radius of the beehive. Wild honeybee colonies can be tested just as easily. You will find more about BeesMAX on our YouTube Channel called BeesMaxFightBack.
My personal reason for pursuing APIStrip is that I can use it to prove I no longer need veterinary approved medicines to treat honeybee diseases. My chemical free beekeeping processes will be able to prove I have stabilised and mostly reduced my own honeybee colony losses to virtually zero. This has huge implications worldwide because there has been a massive industry of very costly veterinary approved medicines that most of which are just not needed.
