About

Photobiology holds promise in food processing as an alternative treatment for fresh food, ingredients and liquids, pre-processing methods of raw materials and ingredients, shelf life extension method of fresh produce and fresh-packed fruits & vegetables, postprocessing of ready-to-eat meals, and dry sanitation method surfaces at food plants and displays. Moreover, we implement LED signals technology as sanitary treatment and preservation processes for farming, harvest and postharvest to improve efficiency, yield, quality of crops, and fresh produce. In addition, it has been demonstrated that such a treatment enhances nutritional qualities of fresh food. This solution is helpful for developed and non-developed countries to increase farmers health security and incomes and, also prevent food diseases. The Minamata convention on Mercury to protect human health and the environment from the adverse effect of mercury entered into force on 16 August 2017. 2020 is the year after which the manufacture, import or export of the product shall not be allowed. A common way to generate UVC is thru mercury lamp. Simultaneously, UV LED technology becoming more affordable as following the Haitz law (1$/mW on 2019) allows to imagine the development of products with all LED advantages of commandability, compacity and effectiveness in a full ecological respect. Asclepios Tech products may be used for seed treatment (enhancement of biotic and abiotic resistance), fruits & vegetables decontamination/treatment/preservation pre and post-harvest, including water disinfection (ANSI 55-2019 class A or B) for pathogen inactivation up to gene destruction. Our first product Boxilabix with Boxilumix inside available for Lab tests allowed to demonstrate promizing results on decontamination, preservation of seeds, fresh fruits and vegetables and the mobile version is used in winery and orchards to manage plants compounds.
