Photobiology holds promise in food processing as an alternative treatment for fresh food, ingredients and liquids, pre-processing methods of raw materials and ingredients, shelf life extension method of fresh produce and fresh-packed fruits & vegetables, postprocessing of ready-to-eat meals, and dry sanitation method surfaces at food plants and displays. Moreover, we implement LED signals technology as sanitary treatment and preservation processes for farming, harvest and postharvest to improve efficiency, yield, quality of crops, and fresh produce. In addition, it has been demonstrated that such a treatment enhances nutritional qualities of fresh food. This solution is helpful for developed and non-developed countries to increase farmers health security and incomes and, also prevent food diseases.
