About

An international family-run company Alsapan is a company with a remarkable history. It was founded back in 1972 by local carpenter Joseph Strub, who was one of the first to understand the potential of mass-produced furniture. Joseph’s original values have been passed down by three of his children and they still today form the culture of this French family-run business. Key to these values are three main precepts: think hard about how best to invest our resources at every level of the business and focus on sound management; form long-lasting, trust-based relations with our customers, suppliers and employees; drive innovation through new ideas and smart machinery to remain competitive and attractive. Balanced resources One of the determining factors of Alsapan’s identity is its unique ability to adapt. From the very beginnings of the company, we have always shown an excellent ability to tailor our facilities to market developments, which often comes as a surprise to our external partners! By continually upgrading our machinery to meet the evolving requirements of our customers and the challenges of our business, we have, over the last 45 years, managed to reach a position where we stand alongside the major European manufacturers. Our aim over the next three years is to have Alsapan furniture or flooring within every European home.
