About

Wupatec developed unique IPs to significantly decrease the power consumption of RF Front End (RFE) of wireless communication system. With the ever increasing need for broadband data (LTE/5G handset, LTE/5G eMBB, Public Safety Network ...),  the power hungry and narrow band RF Front End's Amplifier is a major contributor to the low performance in terms of carbone footprint for Telecom Network. Wupatec's technology allows to significantly deacrease the power consumption of any wireless communication network, hence contributing to the global effort to reduce carbon emission.

Other products

In the domain of Radio Frequency Amplifier used in wireless communication systems ( Telecom 4G LTE-5G NR, SatCom, Public Safety...), very large majority of solutions are largely oversized in terms of Output Power compared to what is really needed. The main reason being the modulated signals used by the communication standards have a large Peak to Average Ratio ( or so called PAR)... the amplifier is operating mostly in back-off ( low power) with a fixed supply voltage...leading to a significant waste of energy. Wupatec's solution is based on the concept of envelope tracking, meaning the amplifier's supply voltage is dynamically optimized vs the real time power required, hence the lower power consumption.
