Woodly is a company developing and commercializing new wood-based plastic material suitable for all typical converting techniques. Woodly is suitable for packaging and for items.
Our mission in Woodly is to accelerate the change towards a sustainable future by redesigning plastics.
We will never live in a world without plastic, but we believe there is a future without waste and pollution. We can achieve this future through material innovation and extensive recycling, resulting in a complete de-coupling of all plastics from fossil-based feedstocks. Our product is an entirely new type of plastic based on softwood cellulose and it mimics the best qualities of traditional fossil-based plastics. Yes, the Woodly material is plastic, just not the kind we are used to.
