WIPSEA helps people who need to census wildlife. We develop digital solutions based on Deep learning technics.
About
We offer a software solution to help you to analyse your photos acquired with a camera trap.
We also provide services to census megafauna or human activities by using our image analysis software solution on aerial imagery shot from a plane or a UAV.
We are working in collaboration with a research team called OBELIX from Université de Bretagne Sud (UBS, South Britanny University), Office Français de la Biodiversité (OFB, French Biodiversity Office) and France Energie Marine (FEM, French Marine Renewable Energy institute) to provide state-of-the-art tools to census marine megafaune and avifauna on future french offshore windfarms (SEMMACAPE program).
Other customers are for example CTIFL (Agro-ecology project), ECOBIO lab at Rennes University (wildlife census around Rennes Metropole).
We are looking for new collaborations with researchers and private companies to help them surveying wildlife or decreasing human activities impact on protected species.
