Via Marina is an innovative engineering and construction company promoting large infrastructure projects using its proprietary system for transporting water in large quantities and over long distances by an underwater flexible pipe.
Water is taken at the mouth of rivers or from the marine outfalls of waste water treatment plants of large coastal cities.
At destination it can be used after the required treatment for all uses: urban, industrial but mainly for agriculture which is the largest water user worldwide.
By fostering irrigated agriculture, our projects will contribute to ensuring worldwide food security in the face of two megatrends: climate change and population growth. Thus generating social and economic development, overall welfare, jobs, GDP, exports, fiscal revenues and that way preventing social and political unrest, undesired migrations, extremisms.
Our projects are at the same technically viable, environmentally sustainable, economically profitable and politically acceptable.
