At The Concept we are a product development house that focuses on developing and introducing sustainable offerings for our clients using a combination of sustainable hardware and technology innovation. We work with a host of clients based in the aviation, aerospace, medical and hospitality industry to help them gather data on their existing food and beverage consumptions so that they can better cater their customers, but most importantly understand the preferences of their guests so that they can curb creating excess food and food waste. We also work with clients in order to covert their existing plastic waste into new products with the aim of up-cycling and recycling wasted plastic and driving them away from landfills. Our first breakthrough product was in the aviation industry, NEOS Fly, which is the worlds lightest, safest and most sustainable in-flight food tray that is made from water bottles used on-board an aircraft and helps an airline to drive up to 3,000,000 water bottles away from landfill annually, whilst the tray has also been designed to be 30% lighter in weight, which helps airlines save up to USD 1,5000,000 per contract. Today we have partnered with Etihad Airways, UAE's national airline in order to develop NEOS Fly+, which is the development of the worlds first in-flight smart tray that features embedded IoT technology and will allow us to gather data on what exactly a passenger is consuming and aren't which will help airlines like Etihad Airways and other global airlines to reduce their food and beverage waste, which is currently a USD 3.9 Billion aviation industry problem. Together with our hardware and technology innovation, we are helping clients in multiple industries move towards a sustainable tomorrow.
