The Solar Visuals solution combines renewable energy with endless aesthetic possibilities.
Our glass-glass and glas-tedlar based façade panels are designed in such a way that they can be integrated seamlessly into the façade surfaces of buildings.
The use of façades to generate energy offers new opportunities to scale-up the energy production in the built environment in one go.
Buildings can now easily be transformed from energy consuming objects into energy-producing entities and yet be visually attractive.
The heart of our product is a unique patented rasterisation method that covers the solar cell.
Once the design is chosen, this image is transformed into a pattern of dots. The open spaces between the pattern allow the sunrays to penetrate to the photovoltaic layer, resulting in the optimum balance between energy yield and aesthetic quality.
Solar Visuals has won the Clean Challenge Award for the city of Amsterdam in march 2019.
