About

There are millions of bikes in the world, and many sit idle while people drive a car for short trips. The electric-trailer is different: 1) The rider can use their bike that fits well. Why by another? 2) Short trips demand carrying goods or gear. We often use a car for carrying a small amount. 3) The e-trailer connects to any bike, carries the gear, and costs less. Goals: By increasing sales, the profitable price can be lowered to $699, then $599, and then $399 so more people will have affordable access to electric assist. Ridekick is in business to: Promote healthy lifestyles and sustainability through fun, affordable products. • Every ride builds healthier bodies. • Each car trip replaced by cycling helps our environment. • It’s more FUN! The most impact can be made if fun is involved! We've found that riders will leave the car at home and ride when they can arrive refreshed and can tote their gear. The Ridekick trailer works perfectly with renewable electricity. The "light vehicle" or cycle uses far less energy than any car. Quick calculations indicate an efficient electric car uses 10x to 20x more power than an electric assist bike. This makes it very easy to recharge an electric assist bike, demanding far less infrastructure.
