About

PURPLE ALTERNATIVE SURFACE designs and markets ecological, modular and intelligent solutions for urban pavements with a view to preserving water resources. The company, based in Belfort in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region, has forged partnerships in the fields of plastics processing and recycling with a view to eco-construction. It operates in a highly favorable legislative and regulatory environment. The management team, as well as external contributors, are experienced in a wide range of skills related to environmental protection, recycling and construction. This disruptive technology will fully meet the expectations of designers, integrators and public decision-makers. A sales force will be set up. The aim is to achieve sales of €13 million by 2025, and thus become a benchmark in this high value-added technical, economic and environmental sector. Soil artificialisation is one of the main causes of climate change and the erosion of biodiversity. Rainfall episodes are more frequent, increasing the risk of flooding. Every year, some 24,000 hectares are urbanized, the equivalent of the city of Marseille. What's more, only 9% of the world's plastic waste is recycled. The rest is landfilled, incinerated or, worse still, exported out of sight. In France, 30% of plastics are landfilled.
