Through its three main business objectives :- - Create enough Jobs for young women and men by trainings and introducing new skills and opportunities in the local Rwandan market in the sector of garages. - ICT Innovations in Rwandan Garage Sector putting more emphasis in new technologies in order to be able to solve new vehicles' technological faults and mechanical issues. - Develop a waste free green garage projects through Construction of a State of The Art (Green Garage Village) with 100 modern green garage units. Car pollutants cause immediate and long-term effects on the environment. Car exhausts emit a wide range of gases and solid matter, causing global warming, acid rain, and harming the environment and human health. Engine noise and fuel spills also cause pollution. Pure Pro took one of the several ways that can reduce the effects of car pollutants on the environment and minimize the overwhelming wastes produced by Garage Workshops operators. - Old and poorly maintained vehicles cause most pollution from cars - Car and Garage wastes are the main causes - Poor Garage locations and poor infrastructure - Ignorance garage operators about climate change problems As illustrated above, car wastes are problem to our environment and this is the same in our country as many of car repair garages are located in wetlands and or in place where their pollute the air of citizens Car pollutants cause immediate and long-term effects on the environment. Car exhausts emit a wide range of gases and solid matter, causing global warming, acid rain, and harming the environment and human health. Engine noise and fuel spills also cause pollution. In places like Nyabugogo, Gastate, Rugunga, Gatenga, Nyamirambo and others, car wastes such Plastics, car bodies, toxic battery acids, waste oil, glasses and other products are scattered around the garage where kids are playing with them and in middle of living areas. As of now no tangible preparation in place to correct and use those waste as three-quarters of today’s average car, including the bulk of a steel frame, can be recycled. As a permanent solution, Pure Pro Ltd together with Rwanda Garage Association developing a State of the Art Green Garage village Project that shall eliminate 98% of all the Climate Change effects caused by the City car Garages and a permanent solution to Garage wastes. Only a solution to the environment but also to change the mindset of all the auto mechanic operators. The objectives of this project are the following 1. To build a 100 units full equipped Eco-friendly Auto Garage Village; 2. Reduce and manage the car waste from one point; 3. Use eco-friendly power generations and water treatment systems; 4. Establish car waste collections center; 5. Create recycling units for waste water, Tyres, Glasses, oil and plastics 6. Enable garage owners to acquires their own premises through lease; 7. Protect wetlands especially Nyabugogo wetland system; 8. To create substitutes products which are environmental friendly; 9. To investigate options for processing and value adding to recycled products. By establishing the Green Auto Garage villages in the country the following are the impact, we are expecting: - Environmentally friendly Green Auto garage villages will strengthen the ability of our country to manage car waste and establish a recycling industries; - The project will create an enabling environment for better investments that would attract highly qualified and educated individuals into the business of automobile maintenance. - The project will enable garage owners to acquire their own premises which enable them to growth economically; - The project will enable the cities of our country to control the waste that go into the water and wetlands starting with Nyabarongo river - The project will enable innovations from garage wastes and create more jobs for our youths - The project will bring all garage operators together in order to be sensitized and get trained about the climate change.
