About

POLYLOOP is a young french startup, developping smart composite recycling equipments dedicated to complicated material : plastic composites ! With the standard recycling processes of today, you have to chose which part of the composite you recycle : the polymer or the reinforcement using either chemical or mechanical separation. These technologies lead to a low end raw material like particules or monomeres. At Polyloop we want to keep the highest value of the material : keep it as a polymer so we don't waste to much energy to polymeris it again ! We use a very known and proven process, Vinyloop and Texyloop, that has been working for more than 15 years in a huge plant in Italy... This is based on selective dissolution (of the polymer) separation (of the reinforcement:PET fiber, glass, carbon...) and precipitation again of the polymer compound. Today with polyloop we integrate this process into a compact standard 40 feets marine container that will be installed directly where the waste is ! Then we don't have a plant but a small equipment with exactly the capacity the customer wants : dedicated to local composite recycling for post industrial waste and post consummer waste also.
