PakVitae is the pioneer of ERM polymeric membrane technology which significantly increases the efficacy, longevity and simplicity of water purification systems.
We have developed the world's first intrinsically antimicrobial ultrafiltration membrane (patents filed and pending). This innovation prevents biofouling in membranes and increases their lifetime several folds. In addition, our ultrafiltration membranes offer protection against all harmful, waterborne viruses, bacteria and protozoa due to our 20nm pore size. Hence, membranes which previously required frequent maintenance and replacement can now be deployed in homes to last up to 2 years. This fundamentally changes the economics and life cycle of water filters for use at home or outside.
PakVitae is currently valued at $200M and has raised a multimillion-dollar funding round from within Pakistan.
