About
Active actor of the digitization of the energy market, Omnisens provides "asset integrity monitoring solutions" using a standard telecommunication fibre as a distributed temperature, strain and vibration sensors. Therefore, any critical asset that transport energy and embeds telecommunications fibre can be monitored by Omnisens, supporting Energy actors to (among others):
- Improve the reliability of Offshore Wind Energy production, preventing outage that would come from a power cable failure (electrical fault, boat anchor drops, etc.)
- Optimize the electricity transport through power interconnector links (e.g. between countries), which is key to support an increasing energy mix
- Minimize gas or oil leak environmental footprint along pipelines by detecting these from the very early stages
