NovPower is developing highly reliable electric propulsion systems for recreational aviation.
About
NovPower is convinced that aviation will gradually migrate to electric propulsion and that light aviation will be used as a test bed for this transformation. The performance of batteries is now sufficient to support this change, and the regulatory and societal context is favorable. This evolution will be facilitated by lower operating costs and reduced noise pollution.
Products developed by NovPower cover the whole system, from the electric motor to the batteries, including the human machine interface.
As reliability and availability are of prime importance, the systems developed are subject to monitoring thanks to a technology developed at CERN with whom a technology transfer agreement has been signed.
At NovPower, our main concern is safety and we are focused at developing innovative solutions that meet the needs of pilots.
