About

We conceptualize, design and produce smart urban equipment that solve the main issues any city suffers from, in terms of urbanization and management of data. Any smart city has to be resilient and sustainable, our smart urban equipment help cities achieve the resilience through managing the data gathered from all the data points and analyzing them in order to help decision makers make sustainable decisions that would serve different generations while preserving the resources of the present. We tackle each challenge with an intelligent mindset as follows: 1. Offering a digitalized environment outdoor helps revive the urban space and create links with oneself and with others. As cities are expanding, houses tend to be smaller and people tend to spend more time outdoors that indoors. The public space reflects the mindset of living together as a community and protecting shared goods. Our smart urban equipment focus on creating bonds and links between the beneficiaries of our services, whether through creating a social environment via music or light, or encouraging people to unleash their creativity in the way they want to use the shared wifi. Digitalizing the urban space allows to bring life to the urban equipment, instead of submitting to the urban furniture, our aim is to create an interactive experience with the equipment in an educative and prominently informative way. 2. All our smart urban equipment are furnished by solar panels to produce clean electricity to be at the service of all citizens through 220V plugs and 5V cables. bringing electricity to any point is possible with our off-grid solutions. Our solar systems allow our urban equipment to be autonomous and generate their own electricity wherever they are installed and whenever they are to be used. 3. Allowing a quadruple connection through our smart urban equipment involves the following aspects:  Connection to internet through our wifi hotspot, that allows the users to be permanently connected, it allows our sensors and electronic system to run full time and results in a continuous animation of the public space in question.  Connecting to people through the events posted on the display screens that are integrated in our design. Our mobile application allows the users to follow the schedule of the events planned in a certain area, with respect to the géolocalisation shared with our equipment.  Connecting to the environment through the sensors of air quality, temperature, moisture, meteorology and so on. Our smart equipment represent the data gathering points in a smart city. They allow to gather the data, analyze it and predict the future values of these KPIs.  Connecting to the equipments: Beneficiaries of our service keep in touch and receive important data reports through our mobile application. Once one user connects to one urban equipment of Nalida Power, they are registered on the database and they receive educative pop-up messages and free updates and reports about different aspects of the environment. 4. Part of our mission is to raise awareness about the importance of plants that depollute the air, we try to integrate plantation in all our smart urban equipment. Our research and development team works extensively on passive methods to purify the air from the pollutants. Few of those ways are: the use of plants with high rate of absorption of CO2 and other Particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10), the project of algae that is nurtured by the CO2 and many more ideas regarding the passive filtration. On the other hand, the active air filtration requires an air compressor, a pump and an air filter that expulses the filtered air, the challenge is that in the outdoor as an open space, the aerodynamic aspects of this is very complex to study and manage as it is doable indoors.
