Problem: Today's mobility is inefficient, inconvenient, not sustainable, and results in 24% of greenhouse gas emissions worldwide. But how can we make mobility more efficient? How can we foster a shift from car to public transport and bikes? How can we make public transportation more attractive?
Solution: If we want to give answers to all these questions we have to understand how, when, and why people move from A to B. This data about real-world travel is not available so far. MOTIONTAG generates this data.
How? MOTIONTAG identifies how, when and why people move from A to B by recording 10 modes of transportation fully automatically with over 93 % accuracy and at lowest battery consumption.
Product: Our product is a software suite consisting of mobile app software and services (SDKs) and analytics infrastructure. Customers like Swiss Rail, German Rail, BVG, Audi, Swisscom and Telefonica integrate our SDK in their mobile apps and use it to solve the huge inefficiencies in the mobility market through data-driven insights and services.
