monta Klebebandwerk GmbH is Germany's largest manufacturer of natural rubber-based adhesive tapes.
About
monta is a forward-thinking company, with a global network of suppliers and customers, exporting to 50 countries, as well as two subsidiaries in Hungary and Romania.
Customers include packaging distributors, printers, converters, packaging machine manufacturers and industrial users.
The company specialized in binding threads and hemp ropes when it was founded in 1855 as "Mechanische Bindfadenfabrik Immenstadt”. For more than 50 years now, adhesive tapes for packaging technology and industrial applications have been developed and manufactured in Immenstadt.
monta's company strategy includes a strong focus on sustainability. By the end of 2019, monta launched the Greenline product line with the industrially compostable monta biopack®, which has grown ever since.
Since August 2021, unavoidable carbon emissions for all monta Greenline products are compensated by supporting accredited climate protection projects.
