Microvi is an advanced materials company delivering tailored, low-cost bioprocesses for applications in the water, renewable chemicals and biotech sectors. We are the first and only company to focus exclusively on the microenvironment to enhance how microorganisms perform in industrial bioprocesses.
Microvi’s MicroNiche Engineering (MNE) platform combines materials science and microbiology, aligning modern industrial bioprocesses with the evolutionary history of microbial functions over billions of years. We have developed thousands of biocatalysts as the base of our suite of water purification, wastewater treatment and bioproduction technologies.
Founded to make a positive impact on the world through this paradigm-shift in science and engineering, we first used our proprietary platform technology, MNE, to provide safe and low-cost drinking water for disadvantaged communities. Today, our solutions save lives, improve health and provide affordable drinking water while preserving our environment.
