METzero Technologies specialises in sustainable, scalable, and cost-effective wastewater treatment solutions for water utilities and the food and beverage industries. Utilising Microbial Electrolysis Technology (METs), their approach treats wastewater anaerobically, saving energy, reducing emissions, and recovering valuable resources such as hydrogen and ammonia. The company, born out of Newcastle University research, focuses on transforming wastewater into a resource, aligning with circular economy goals and supporting industries in achieving net-zero targets.
