The patented H.I.S. (Hydrogen Injection System®) technology from Logikko injects hydrogen in small quantities into any thermal engine, generated in real time by electrolysis of water. The result is a reduction in consumption and pollution for gasoline and diesel engines. The H.I.S. reduces fuel consumption up to 25% and toxic emissions up to 70% on any combustion engine. Regarding diesel engines, the Logikko system is the only “on-board” solution currently on the market. Logikko, created in July 2013, was based on the principle that the ecological transition would take place over the long term and that the emergence of electric vehicles would be gradual. It took 6 years for this idea to become an economic reality accepted by the market. The four-year period, between 2013 filing of the patent and 2017 when it is published, will have allowed Logikko to move from the stage of functional demonstrator to that of pre-production. During this period, expert assessment were organized and tests carried out on around 100 vehicles. At Equip Auto 2019, Logikko was convinced that the market was finally here. The notion of energy and ecological transition was understood and economic and political players were beginning to admit that the market would not switch to all electricity in a few months, or even a few years. All the players recognized the need to put in place transitional solutions in the replacement of the existing vehicle fleet. Logikko had anticipated this change. During the period 2017-2019 Logikko signed a partnership and support agreement for industrialization and production with a major automotive supplier. Logikko systems have been audited by the CNRS. The result of this audit is a partnership agreement between Logikko and the CNRS for the development of new products with co-filing of patents. In this context, a doctoral student from the nanotechnologies unit of the Institute of Molecular Sciences of Bordeaux linked to a CNRS laboratory is working on the types of material of the electrolyzer as well as on the electrolyte. Today Logikko ticks all the boxes in its value chain: Patent, Industrialization and Distribution. Numerous developments resulting from this work are in progress in the sectors of passenger transport (Bus / Car, river shuttle), goods, public works, fishing, generators, airport, transport, production of green hydrogen for small gas storage units. Logikko has built a solid team around basic businesses: electrochemistry, motorization, mechanics. Logikko completed its recruitment with complementary professions: methods, design, tests, etc. Today Logikko enjoys a great capacity for development thanks to its quality recruitments.
