LAVO™ is a green energy technology and lifestyle company powered by Hydrogen. Our brand honors Antoine Lavoisier the scientist who named Hydrogen H1.
Our aim is to challenge convention, spark a global conversation and enable a meaningful change in attitudes and behaviors around sustainability, the environment and responsible consumerism. LAVO’s product offering centers around a Hybrid Energy Storage System (HESS) powered by hydrogen. It forms the basis of an ecosystem of additional products and experiences currently under development that will be brought to market in personal mobility (e.g., bike, scooter etc.), outdoor cooking (e.g., Barbeque - BBQ) and heating (e.g., home heating) etc. all powered by green hydrogen. The core of the technology is a patented metal hydride which stores green hydrogen at high energy densities in a low pressure and safe solid state with a long lifespan of over 20k cycles or 30 years. Where customers do not own a LAVO HESS, the depleted Bike and BBQ metal hydride canasters can be exchanged under a ‘swap&go’ model where commuters/consumers can purchase recharged canasters for immediate consumption.
