About

French SAS with a capital of 191 K€, the Carbonerie founded in 2002 quickly distinguished itself by its expertise in the knowledge and competence of biomass pyrolysis for the production of BioCarbon (technical Biochar) and pyroligneous juice. The company's project is characterized by a strong orientation towards a global innovation strategy. The research and development occupy a fundamental place within its activity, and its test platform is today a reference. The company also ensures the production and marketing of its products. The turnover is 550K€ and the current market is 60% export within the European zone. The objective is to meet the specific technological requirements of vast industrial sectors by supplying them with consumables and/or micro-materials used in the realization of their final product. The markets are already very varied: raw materials for industry (automotive components, foundry, crystal, porous ceramics, ...) soil improvement, filtration systems, plastics, paints, concrete, inks, cosmetics, food coloring, animal feed ... The BioCarbon from La Carbonerie's process (CarboVia Process) reflects the will to distinguish itself by 3 major characteristics: the high technicality of the product, its very innovative character, and the contribution of the product and the process to the immediate reduction of the carbon footprint of our user customers. 1. The will to develop high-tech ranges: These BioCarbons are characterized by physical, chemical and biological properties specifically calculated and controlled according to the final applications which are very diverse. 2. Innovation : The will of the company is to stand out by product ranges of very high technological level, allowing to answer complex problems of the customer companies. For example, the CarboVia Plast range is oriented towards the development of fillers and additives entering in the composition of plastics, composite materials and technical rubbers presenting to date problems remained without answers (ex: antistatic but non-conductive effect of plastics). It is this capacity for innovation in applied research combined with the flexibility to adapt the custom-developed product to the needs of the customers that constitute strong elements of differentiation for the company. 3. Carbon footprint reduction: Due to its natural ability to sequester CO2 in a sustainable manner, our BioCarbone product contributes significantly to the reduction of the carbon footprint of our customers. Depending on the end of life of the final products, the carbon credit of CarboVia products is always very favorable and varies from 1.2 to 3.2t C02 sequestered/ t of product used, depending on the applications. Our BioCarbone products are all part of our general range under the name "Black is green" 100% organic and elaborated from a process itself innovative, very largely exothermic and therefore very low energy cost. Our products are 100% natural and alimentary.
