Soufflet is a French family-owned agri-food group with an international dimension. It is active in the wheat, barley, rice and dried vegetable sectors, as well as in supporting wine growers. It is the leading European collector of family-owned cereals in Europe, and is also present on the international cereals markets via its subsidiary Soufflet Négoce. In the barley sector, it is one of the world's leading malt producers with 28 plants in Europe, Asia and South America. In the wheat sector, it is one of Europe's leading millers, with eight mills in France and Belgium, and an expert in custom ingredients through AIT Ingredients. It is also a major manufacturer of bakery, pastry and confectionery products in France and Portugal. It is present on the fast-food market. In the rice and pulses sector, Soufflet Alimentaire is a manufacturer specialising in the processing and packaging of rice, pulses, mixed grains and the production of functional flours. With Soufflet Biotechnologies, the Soufflet Group is investing heavily in research into new ways of using agricultural resources.
