Hytchers is a Belgian transportation startup that offers sustainable parcel delivery and return solutions. The service offered by the platform consists of leveraging on the existing trips of our community of Hytchers (i.e. private individuals), for the transport of a large number of parcels - hence without emitting any additional CO2.
Based on the drivers’ daily commutes, driving patterns and calendar events, Hytchers can identify the best commuter to deliver parcels. Through various communication channels (push notifications, emails,...), Hytchers provides them with the most effective routes.
Hytchers’ algorithm is unique as it combines multiple optimized commuting routes to transport packages. This is why a parcel might stop at various collection points of the network before reaching its final destination.
By using existing traffic flows, Hytchers avoids creating additional traffic to transport parcels and, by doing so, avoids the C02 footprint of traditional couriers. And, in Hytchers’ quest for sustainable transport, Hytchers also offsets the carbon emitted by every transport by investing in ecological projects. This guarantees that the transport of a Hytchers parcel is 100% CO2 neutral
