Goodwhale's top project is No Meat Today: https://nomeat.today, an iOS app featured by Apple for people who want to eat less meat, either occasionally, to find a new balance with more plant-based meals or to become vegan. It's a playful app that asks you a simple daily question: "Did you eat meat today?". You get to decide what "meat" is: will you include fish? dairy? eggs? Or will you only reduce red meat consumption? It's up to you! Every time you don't eat meat for an entire day, you attract a cow. They will stick around as long as you're in line with your goals… and otherwise, they will flee! Reducing meat consumption is one of the most effective ways to have an impact on GHG emissions, water use/pollution, land use/pollution, but also on your health and animal welfare. It can be hard to change your diet radically, but goodwill must be encouraged. Every meal is an opportunity to try again and make the choice to cut down on meat consumption. No Meat Today helps you get a clear picture of your intake and motivates you to embrace a more plant-based diet, one meal at a time. And if you give up today, so be it.
