About

GDI's Mission: To enable fast charging energy storage technologies that will result in greater utilization of renewable energy, mass transportation, and electric mobility. To design and produce the highest power density electrodes per dollar for the Ultracapacitor market, and the highest energy density per dollar Silicon Anode for the Li-ion market. To ensure all its products are developed in way to ensure that they can be produced at massive scale and attractive economics. GDI is a platform coating technology company that manufactures and sells both ultracapacitor and silicon li-ion electrodes. Located in Western New York. Most of GDI’s team are former Kodak scientists and engineers, with extensive knowledge of chemistry, advanced materials, scale-up, and roll-to-roll manufacturing. GDI has scaled its high performance ultracapacitor electrodes by leveraging a low CAPEX proven production model, and is ramping manufacturing to prepare for global product launch in early 2021. Silicon anodes will be launch initially for military applications in mid 2021.
