About

ExxFire is a spin out of the European Space Agency, having developed its disruptive technology into an adjacent area of industrial fire suppression. The business is a technological disruptor in a very large but staid global market, and has successfully developed its technology into products which it is now selling into the market. The company trades in a global market worth around $5.2bn (2021) growing 6.2% per year. It has developed six new products in the last year and has been selling right through the Covid trough this year. Most importantly, ExxFire also comes with a phenomenal “green” impact in terms of reducing the GWP of competing products now widely in use globally. The global industry currently deploys gasses in suppressing industrial fires which are damaging to the atmosphere. The calculations show that the current a GWP equivalent to the release of 7-10 million tons of CO2 annually, whereas ExxFire’s technology, employing pure nitrogen to suppress the fire, will have zero GWP or ODP. https://exxfire.com/home/environmental-impact
