About
EcoBricks has developed a commercialised and validated solution that can upcycle virtually any type of plastic waste into certified high-grade concrete products.
Our unique products can utilise hard or impossible to recycle waste plastic e.g. PVC, therefore providing a large-scale solution the majority of the world's plastic waste that is currently sent to landfill, incinerated or dumped in waterways and the oceans.
EcoBricks' solution also significantly reduces the carbon footprint of concrete, the most consumed man-made material in the world. We achieve this by replacing a major proportion of virgin raw materials with waste materials that currently have no recycling solution and also by adopting a fully circular business model - local waste, local manufacturing and local use. Furthermore, we can recycle 100% of our own products and waste back into new EcoBricks, thus ensuring zero waste generation.
Our recycling process is 100% cold and clean. We do not heat, melt or chemically process plastic waste. This means less energy consumption, no hazardous pollutants or harmful emissions.
