In spite of the quantity of available transport, its modernity and constant development, there are 4 major needs related to the latter: - Saturation. - Cost. - Lack of visibility. - Ecology, Health and Safety. Vision: Daba'Go aspires to become a leading transport hub in Africa and then extend its services to the rest of the world. Its objective is to make transportation information clear and accurate to all citizens without constraint and stress on a daily basis, as well as to participate in the optimization and development of the continent's public transportation networks by collaborating with local transportation stakeholders. Daba'Go does not aspire to address all the transport problems in Africa's major cities because some of them are beyond the understanding of a simple entrepreneurial will. Daba'Go has worked on two principles: - Human solution: that it be available 24/7, that it be accessible and adaptable to all regardless of social origin or income level, that it be intuitive and easy to use, that it be exhaustive on multimodal coverage and that it respond to problems that affect them directly (saturation, budget, health...). - Solution for transport actors: a tailor-made solution for the city that takes into account its specificities and the multiplicity of its transport types (tramway, bus, train, cab, car-sharing, VTC, bicycle, car-sharing...), which takes into account the rapid evolution of the city and therefore evolves with it. Finally, we want our solution to be consistent with the country's policies and the concepts of sustainable development. Transportation has a big inconvenience which is the pollution it causes. Transport alone is responsible for 15% of total greenhouse gas emissions in Morocco, i.e. 48 million tons of CO2 equivalent. Transport is the source of emissions of several other types of pollutants (carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, volatile organic compounds, and lead), all of which cause health problems. Not counting indirect and health-related costs, the degradation of air quality cost 9.7 billion dh in 2014 (1.05% of GDP). Summary of THE IMPACT : - Division of greenhouse gas emissions associated with displacement by a minimum of 6 or even 7 - Increase in the contribution of pollution to gross mortality from 9% to 1.5%. - Tracking users' CO2 emissions - Implementation of CO2 emission as a criterion Summary of the TRAINING EFFECT : The application has been developed so that the key elements are independent. This allows us to add a new city (without considering the data collection time which can be variable if data is provided or if Daba'Go has to collect it) in less than a week. Physical environment : More regular use of public transport in a manner appropriate to individual needs and budgets (thus affecting all social classes, although low-income people between 15 and 55 years of age are most affected). Fewer private vehicles, thus a quieter and more pleasant city. An urban redevelopment that is in line with the population's migratory flows and with the needs and desires of the citizens. Daba'Go offers an application that calculates the optimal route for a given path and offers the user a selection of options considering the different means of transport available (train, taxi, tram, walk, bus…). Routes are calculated and classified according to the user's preference criteria: Cost Duration Maximum number of connections Refusal to use certain means of transport In addition, through partnerships, Daba'Go aims to be exhaustive on all the possibilities of getting around within a city. The Daba GO application is available on any smartphone (Android and Iphone) regardless of its version and on the website. Continuous monitoring is provided to manage bugs and improve the application. This application is therefore intended to be a suitable solution for developing cities since it: It is carried out by potential users and based on requests from local transport users. It considers the specifics of the organization of transport that are found almost only in large cities of developing countries.
