Cobrane Design is a french manufacturer specialized in conception and production of LEV Light Electric Vehicle. Our 2 markets are: - the Facility Management for mobility of technicians on big plants (maintenance, security and cleanliness) - the last mile delivery for Post opération and Parcels delivery.
About
Cobrane thinks that we don't need a 1,5 tons véhicule for bringing a man and his toolcase. We manufacture electric carrier for bringing less than 200 kg with a range of 30 km. We call that micro-handling and micro-mobility. It looks like a tricycle with a hub motor in the front wheel. We manage différent platforms (short and long), with the same main parts.
Our clients are the big factories with large facilities to manage, we propose an Ecological solution instead of diesel car with non noise and no emissions, very Safe because limited at 15 kph with a balancing sytem for turning, it increases Productivity because technicians are more efficient and avoids Penibility at work.
The other part of our business is postal opérations in the center of big cities and the last mile delivery, very parcel centric with the explosion of the online market and the home delivery. Also the new market of little urban merchant merging on the web from the containment.
Cobrane has an hydrogen program with the french laboratory CEA. The idea is to increase the range of the Cobrane XL for last mile opérations in town. We expect having this solution ready for the end of 2020.
