About

CIRCE has developed technology for methane fermentation to value-added products, among them biopolymers and single cell protein for feed and food. Thereby, we can produce high-volume products in a cost-effective and sustainable way: Our production does not require agricultural resources, thereby decoupling land usage from supplying these highly-demanded commodities. Our patented bioprocess is energy-efficient, environmentally benign and scaleable. It can take both protein and plastics production to the next level, i.e. it can truly bring about the long-awaited transition of making feed, food and polymer production sustainable. We have patented process for CO2 neutral production.
