About

Boston Materials is proliferating lightweight composites in the transportation industry & beyond to enable drastic weight reduction and GHG emission savings. Our Supercomp Carbon Fiber technology is the key to accomplishing our Mission. Using a patented process, we compound recycled carbon fiber with standard carbon fiber to produce a lightweight composite that: delivers highly differentiated Z-axis performance, saves 30% in overall costs for end users, and consumes a surplus of under utilized recycled carbon fiber in the supply chain. We have been funded ($5M) by Clean Energy Ventures, SABIC Ventures, and the U.S. National Science Foundation. We are currently raising a Series-A to further scale our sales team and production capacity.
