A modular wooden framed building We made the choice to pre fabricate our wooden frame modules in our studio, this enables us the chance to oversee quality and our commitment to sustainability. We have complete control from the applied engineering solutions, the origin of the materials used, build conditions – in a clean environment – build time and price management. Our pre fabricated modules enable us to deliver a turn key building that is tailored made and delivered promptly. An autonomous build In order to optimise the energy production of the buildings Atome orient the buildings to maximise sun exposure and cover the whole building with patented solar panels. Atome supplies salt water batteries for all their projects to stock the energy generated onsite and enables the site to redistribute it when production diminishes therefore enabling Atomes buildings to be uniquely autonomous. Atomes buildings are connected to the mains electricity this enables any excess energy to be sold back to the grid. A smart home An Atome engineered interface communicates and interacts with the technical servers enabling the users to optimise their comfort throughout their property. By collecting and interpreting the data the building can anticipate their needs. A mobile tool informs users of their consumption and the impact that has on their resources, then create reports for the users to analyse and adapt their consumption to save on running costs. True autonomy Linking the properties together allows them to mutualise energy production and optimise energy storing capacity. The energy use is prioritised, first for the Atome building (roof extension, private home, industrial building), then the local mini grid and then any excess is sold back to the local network. Making a choice for the environment An Atome property generates no CO2 and the materials used reduce the energy needs for the construction. Throughout the construction process every aspect was studied in order to: minimise the CO2 including grey energy, choose only locally sourced ethically sourced materials through to the recycling of the building at the end of its life cycle. Atome relies on short supply chains, sustainable and ecologically responsible suppliers. Atome has also committed to a non-profit association for the education and the preservation of the environment and biodiversity. A vision for the future In the near future Atome owners will be part of a community. They will be positive and active participants in the energy transformation. The opportunity to transform neighbourhoods into green micro grids, creating green clean energy each Atome owner will be a shareholder of this change.
