About
A swiss privetely-held SME, Almatech is specialized in the design, assembly and testing of high-precision mechanisms, ultra-stable structures and thermo-optical hardware for space and naval applications.
Since 2019 and our inception in the high-tech EPFL ecosystem, we have contributed to numerous european space missions (recently Solar Orbiter, CHEOPS and Sentinel-5) and are recognized as a reliable industrial partner for ESA and other leaders of the European space industry.
At the forefront of innovative technologies, we have contributed to the Hydroptere, the fastest sailing boat on the planet with a record of 103km/h!
Our valuable engineering and project-management expertise is to benefit to a zero emission waterborne fast shuttle project, that we undertook over a year ago to address clean mobility challenges such as in environment and traffic sensitive areas as the Leman Lake. We are currently searching investors and finance to build our first coaster.
