About

Aksess Swiss is a research driven production company offering sustainable, flame resistant, cost-effective & light-weight insulation panels with sand for the construction and housing markets. Our team is conducting extensive research on the utilization of collagen in various applications, including construction. Led by our highly experienced researcher with over 40 years of expertise in this field, we have developed a groundbreaking patented recycling model for producing macroporous leather material. This innovative material is composed of a porous structure of collagen fibers with interconnected air channels, offering exceptional thermal and noise insulation capabilities. One of the key advantages of our macroporous leather panels is that they achieve comparable thermal conductivity with thinner panels compared to existing competitors. This not only saves valuable construction space but also increases the habitable areas within buildings. Our production process for macroporous leather operates in the low-energy segment, consuming up to 20,000 times less energy per square meter compared to traditional stone or glass-wool materials. Additionally, we have the flexibility to incorporate various ingredients such as mineral salts, sand, and natural colorants into the material during production. Furthermore, our production process is highly sustainable, with over 90% of the water used being continuously reused, making it the most resource-saving option available in the market. Despite we use the sand, even with the composition containing over 90% of it, we are still 10 times lighter than any competitor, with just 2kg/m2 and practically inflammable material. The source material for our macroporous leather panels is derived from leather scrap generated by the tanning industry. Each year, this industry produces over 1 million tons of waste in the form of leather shavings. Unfortunately, a significant portion of these shavings cannot be effectively repurposed for new leather goods and are either discarded in landfills, incinerated, or used for low- value fertilizers. However, with our cutting-edge technology, we are able to transform this low-cost and widely available scrap material into sustainable and natural insulation panels. Through our innovative application, we are able to integrate over 90% of sand into the panels, further enhancing their insulation properties. As a result, our panels offer top-notch insulation capabilities, are non-flammable, and are cost-effective, making them ideal for mass markets. The Waynerr® project team relentlessly works on prototyping. Currently, we are preparing ourselves for the Life Cycle Analysis and EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certification. The funds shall be used in prototyping and selecting most promising prototype for the EPD certification with the certifying body. We have sent samples and collected highly positive feedback from our potential clients in Switzerland, EU and Middle East, on the sustainability aspect of our product and potential fit in the construction market to replace unsustainable products.
